Even the busiest Washingtonian’s take time out on a beautiful day like this to say…. “we wish you well”. Susan and Michael we very surely do. You were so beautiful. As family and friends spilled out from St Sophia‘s you could hear people saying … “how beautiful”, “what a stunning ceremony”.
St. Sophia’s Historic Cathedral is one of DC’s most awe inspiring sanctuaries with a golden dome 80 feet high and clearstory windows that pour light over the ceremony. Everyone down to the littlest child sat absolutely attentive to the beautiful Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony chanted in perfect clear voice.
Susan and Michael walked Freedom Plaza at sunset and then spent the evening celebrating in the Pavillion of the Reagan Center to wonderful food, traditional Greek dance, an awesome dance band and a very lively party.
We would like to express our thanks to Susan and Michael, their wonderful friends and family for an absolutely amazing day.
